Kenya's tourism sector could suffer a major setback following a decision by the United States of America (USA) to list the country as one of the global kidnapping hotspots. The new travel advisory came with introduction of kidnapping risk indicator to the safety and security messaging for US travellers which may discourage American citizens from visiting the country for tourism. The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has warned Governor Siminalayi Fubara against running the state without a duly approved budget by the state House of Assembly. The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the party in the state, Tony Okocha, said this in Port Harcourt while visiting the Speaker of the State Assembly in the company of his committee.
