The newly elected National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, has expressed confidence that the opposition party will win the 2023 presidential election. Speaking after his emergence as the PDP chairman, Ayu said the opposition party is back to rescue Nigeria from the “terrible mess” the All Progressives Congress has pushed the country into. He added that Nigerians will see a “mammoth crowd” defecting to the party in the coming days, adding that the PDP remained the only party in the country.
