Unilorin Shifts Exam, Prepares For ASUU Strike

The University of Ilorin on Tuesday expressed its readiness to join the Academic Staff Union of Universities strike which has been slated for Wednesday, February 9th, 2022. Following the development, the authorities of the institution shifted all exams fixed for Wednesday to Saturday 12th, 2022. This is coming after the union on Monday maintained that it will soon embark on the indefinite strike should the federal government fail to meet its demands.

The Spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization, Dino Melaye, on Saturday said the 2023 presidential election is not the turn of the flagbear of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu. Melaye said there is no conferment in the forthcoming election, adding that there is no short cut to the contest. The former lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district in his statement also accused the APC of trying to take advantage of the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
